Press briefing on business mission to Taiwan

REPRESENTATIVES OF BUSINESS ASSOCIATIONS ACCOMPANIED THE MINISTER TO TAIWAN LAST WEEK.

The Minister for Commerce, Hon. Bradly Felix, will host a press briefing today, Nov. 21, to provide an update on a recent business mission to the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The delegation, headed by Hon. Bradly Felix, Minister for Commerce, International Trade, Investment, Enterprise Development, and Consumer Affairs, also comprised the permanent secretary of the Department of Commerce, and business support organizations.

This was the first time representatives of the Saint Lucia Manufacturers Association, the Saint Lucia Industrial and Small Business Association, and the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, accompanied the minister to Taiwan on a business mission.

The mission took place from Nov. 13 – 17.

The press briefing will be held at the conference room of the Department of Commerce, located in the Heraldine Rock Building, on the fourth floor. The briefing will also discuss other matters of pertinent importance as it relates to trade and investment.
