John Compton Highway closed this weekend

A section of the highway between Jeremie Street and the Jn. Baptist Street roundabout will inaccessible from July 22 - 24.

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Ports Energy and Labour wishes to inform the motoring public that the section of John Compton Highway between Jeremie Street and Jn. Baptiste Street will be closed from Friday, July 22, at 6 p.m., to Monday, July 24 at 5 a.m. This is to facilitate rehabilitation works to the grills at the Castries Market junction.

Traffic will be diverted through Jeremie Street to Darling Road.

All commuters are asked to be guided by road signs which will be placed for their information and guidance. Commuters are encouraged to use Micoud Street and Chaussee Road to traverse Castries.

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour wishes to apologize for any inconvenience caused during the execution of these works.
